The lump in Grayson's stomach was growing larger with each step that Farlo and Myram took. His mind had gone through and discarded any possible way to have this visit escape Seul's attention. Of course she was having the docking bay monitored–she was having everything monitored. She likely knew about the visitors before they even left Dau. He was surprised that she was not standing there beside him, readying herself to demand an explanation.

Then, thinking about it, he realized this was probably a test for him. He would have to take the pair see Seul immediately. She would be waiting in her office right now, contemplating his fate if he took Myram and Farlo directly to Wylie. No doubt enjoying every potential avenue, he thought ruefully.
